Meyer-Optik-Göerlitz’s titanium and gold Trioplan camera lenses

Great shots

In the world of photography, the name Meyer-Optik-Göerlitz is synonymous with the highest echelon of quality in camera lenses. And that bar is about to inch slightly higher, with a limited edition run of the company’s beloved Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 lenses. What sets these lenses apart? The fact that they are plated with gold and anodized titanium, in tribute to celebrating the 100 years of Trioplan lenses.

Limited to 100 copies for the Titanium edition and only ten for the Golden Eye, the lens can operate with cameras by Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Sony and Micro Four Thirds, combining to capture every last detail of a scene down to a minute freckle, mote of dust or grain of sand.

The Titanium Trioplan f/2.8 lenses will sell at US$2,500 (RM10,000), while the Gold edition sells for US$3,500 (RM14,000).
