Taking a grand stand
The traditional approach by Moritz Grossmann on this white gold piece carries a decidedly organic mechanical feature. The Benu Tourbillon (RM816,500), with several patents pending, employs strands of hair — from founder and CEO Christine Hutter no less — arranged on a brush as a gentle stop-second. Limited to 50 pieces globally, the flying tourbillon cuts through the 6 o’clock, with the minutes indicated on both the inner bezel as well as a novel bridge in the centre of the dial.
