Naim gives its Mu-so speakers a gleaming Bentley twist

Auto aural splendour

Naim’s Mu-so and Mu-so Qb are getting a bit of an upgrade. A Bentley upgrade, to be precise. It’s not a radical reimagining of the Naim speakers – why mess with design perfection? – but a subtle elevation. We’re not surprised. It’s a collaboration that’s been waiting to happen. After all, the British audio house has a long history of working with luxury car brands, and Naim sound systems are already available as upgrades in Bentley cars. So why not take it a step further?

Working with the Bentley design team, Naim has added in some very Bentley design motifs to the two all-in-one speakers: a textured metal control ring, an anodised rear metal heat sync, a silvery-gold front panel and a carbon fibre-esque top plate – all features synonymous with high-end automotive aesthetics. And, of course, a ‘Naim for Bentley’ logo, subtly lit up in blue. The speakers still pump out the most splendid of sounds, just cloaked now in a Bentley gleam.

You won’t be able to purchase these speakers anywhere though. They form part of Bentley’s luxury good collections and, as such, are only available through Bentley outlets. The Mu-so for Bentley is priced at £1,195 (RM6,300), while the smaller Mu-so Qb for Bentley is priced at £750 (RM3,955).
