As one of the world’s few 100 per cent Poincon de Geneve certified watchmakers, the brand definitely has the means and the expertise to build the complication. What’s rare, however, is this particular version of the Excalibur Skeleton Double Flying Tourbillon.

A boutique exclusive unique to the Singapore store, it has an extravagant 45mm rose gold case fully paved with baguette-cut diamonds. Powering the timepiece is calibre RD01SQ, fully skeletonised to the utmost lightness, and beautifully decorated to the high standards required by the Poincon de Geneve. This means perlage all over the movement – including even the thinnest strips of skeletonized metal that form the signature star motif of Roger Dubuis, and perfectly beveled edges. It all represents a labour of love that took 1200 hours of manufacturing, 360 of which were devoted to attaining Poincon de Geneve requirements.
