Celebrate Merdeka with a Lobster Burger at Pince & Pints

Mention ‘Ramly burger’ or ‘Jackson burger’ and Malaysian foodies will be drooling over these localised versions of one of the world’s most popular comfort food. Pince & Pints Restaurant and Bar will be celebrating National Day with their own twist on everyone’s favourite meat-and-patty combination: The Lobster Burger, naturally.


The Lobster Burger consists of a flavour-packed patty made from one whole fresh lobster enveloped by a fluffy potato bun, accompanied with crispy sweet potato fries, coleslaw and three different housemade dipping sauces – wasabi mayo, spicy tomato and garlic sauce.


The Patty – 1 whole lobster marinated with salt, crushed black pepper, butter, Italian parsley, house-made seasonings, breadcrumbs and egg. The patty is then sealed twice with cling film to retain its moisture and chilled for a day. Using a fixed temperature, the patty is slowly deep fried to maintain the moist and juiciness of the lobster!

The Potato Bun – The housemade potato bun is steamed for a minute to keep the bun soft before placing it on the grill to attain the charred texture and taste.

The Coleslaw – The homemade classic slaw, which comprises of julienned carrot, purple and white cabbage, and tossed in mayonnaise for a freshness to the whole dish.

The Sweet Potato Fries – deep fried with seasoned batter using a double-coated technique to acquire the crispiness of the fries.

The Housemade Sauces
Garlic & Lobster Sauce – It’s a combination of garlic and lobster stock that is obtained from the lobster shells that are reduced and simmered for 2 hours with butter, which springs out a beautiful tinge of lobster flavor. Major umami!
Spicy Tomato – It’s a tomato-based sauce with mild hints of chili. The subtle kick everyone looks for when eating a burger!
WasabiMayo – The wasabi and mayo complements each other where the wasabi would not leave any lingering hot aftertaste.

The limited-edition menu additions will be available from 1st August to 30th September, 2017 only for all lobster and burger lovers to enjoy!
