Love me tender
Founded 200 years ago, Hodgdon Yachts from Maine may be the oldest continually operating shipyard in the United States, but its ideas are anything but dated. Case in point: the new 34-foot limousine tender from Hodgdon Custom Tenders (a division of Hodgdon Yachts).
The contemporary-looking boat sports a light-blue-green painted exterior, wood-veneer interior, and leather seats. The majority of the exterior stainless-steel hardware (including the signature flush anchor) was custom-built, guaranteeing a truly bespoke tender. Accommodating up to 11 passengers, the craft comforts with two extra-large owners’ seats, a bar with a refrigerator, climate control, and an entertainment system. Sizable windows provide up-close-and-personal views of the ocean. The saloon’s hardtop rises hydraulically to allow full-height headroom and 360-degree views, and the port and starboard side windows lower to allow guests easy boarding access.
Currently berthed in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat Harbor, the tender is on the market for around US$1.5 million (RM6.02 million). Upon purchase, it will be available for immediate delivery in the Mediterranean. Custom modifications to the exterior paint scheme or interior design are available for an additional price.
