Setting sail on the Genting Dream

Like never before

This month the inaugural ship under Dream Cruises – the first-ever Asian originated luxury cruise line – will arrive in Singapore. The immense Genting Dream is primed to offer a transformational journey on the seas for up to 3,400 guests, staffed by 2,000 crew members – one of the highest passenger-to-crew ratio among cruise lines worldwide.

Among the highlights on this phenomenal vessel are the 35 restaurant and bar concepts offering a gamut of F&B delights, a theatre for live shows, an opulent spa, the first-ever Zouk nightclub on sea and a recreational area of six water slides, promenades, rock climbing and an outdoor cinema. Two onboard submersibles offer guests a chance for underwater exploration as well.

For accommodation, a staggering 70 per cent of its staterooms offer private balconies to observe azure horizons. Its spectacular Dream Mansion suites are made available across two lavishly appointed floors complete with butler service. Within this exclusive space, the Grand Villas offer a private sundeck, whirlpool and grand piano for private parties. (A five-night stay in the Grand Villa for November starts at RM32,990). Onboard programmes include appearances by award-winning photographers, kung-fu stars and astronauts.  Following its Singapore stop on November 4, the Genting Dream proceeds into the waters of Hong Kong and Vietnam, sailing out of its homeport in Guangzhou.
