through the grape vine
Wine lovers, listen up – it’s time to raise a glass to the harvesting season in France, which occurs every year between September and October. There’s no better way to celebrate classic winemaking traditions than with Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara, which is participating in the annual Sofitel Wine Days programme, where Sofitel hotels around the world pay homage to French art-de-vivre.
The cleverly tailored programme, which runs until the end of October, offers wine aficionados the chance to acquaint themselves with the hotel’s swish new venue, Le Bar, as well as giving them a glimpse of the extensive wine selection. A set of wine flights paired with a range of canapés will be available until 22 October, while 23 to 25 October will feature Bordeaux and Burgundy wines by the glass from Chateau Pey La Tour and Domaine William Fevre. Adventurous palates will be similarly delighted by an assortment of French wines, including a Gérard Bertrand Réserve Spéciale Pinot Noir and a Paul Jaboulet Aine Parallele 45 Blanc Grenache, from 26 to 29 October.
