This Limited Edition Montblanc Watch Brings Back Fine Classic Touches Collectors Love

Pulse Of The Past

Like the rest of its Heritage collection brethren, the Montblanc Heritage Pulsograph Limited Edition (RM125,700 and limited to 100 pieces) is an ode to vintage design, sophistication and elegance. This dapper monopusher chronograph draws inspiration from an old-school doctor’s tool watch, and is presented in a 40mm steel case. It features a pulsograph scale around the outside of the dial, which, when used with the chronograph seconds hand, enables the measuring of heart rate—though it can theoretically be used for any event-per-minute calculation. Other vintage details include the 3-minute markers on the minutes counter, a relic from the time of payphones and the 3-minute periods that each coin would buy, and the retro Montblanc logo.

The copper dial includes additional textural interest in the depressed subdials and grained ring under the hour markers. Visible through the display caseback is calibre MB M13.21, manually wound with a 55-hour power reserve, and a fine example of Montblanc’s in-house manufacture and hand-finishing capabilities.
