Habib recently presented its annual GemFest 2024 campaign with much to discover this year. During the event, Habib revealed an array of natural wonders, ranging from star sapphires to watermelon tourmalines, as well as dazzling diamonds. They are, ultimately, the crown jewels of gemstones.
At The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur, where the GemFest 2024 campaign kicked off, Habib hosted interactive workshops led by its team of expert gemmologists and the brand’s very own Group Executive Chairman, Dato’ Sri Meer Habib, who is a certified GIA Graduate Gemmologist. These workshops were conducted to inform guests on the fundamental aspects of diamonds and coloured stones—what defines their beauty, rarity and the distinctions between natural stones and lab-grown alternatives, which dominated the industry during the pandemic lockdown.
