Louis Vuitton’s LVERS Fragrance Is A Sun-Kissed Blend By Pharrell Williams And Jacques Cavallier Belletrud

In collaboration with French perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, Louis Vuitton’s men’s creative director Pharrell Williams recently launched the LVERS fragrance (RM1,650)—the latest release in its masculine scent collection. Together, they have created a highly honed men’s fragrance that visually reflects the essence of light embraced by the sun’s gentle warmth. The scented profile is also rooted in Williams’ design philosophy, where the concept of sunlight is expressed as a metaphor for love, vitality and motivation. “The theme of sunlight that lit up Pharrell’s debut show on Pont Neuf back in June 2023 inspired us to convey photosynthesis in the scent,” Belletrud says. “It may sound abstract, but if you look at life, photosynthesis is the starting point for everything.”

A figurative Eau de Parfum blend, LVERS is a bottle of wonder that emanates notes of nature with sun-splashed greens, the sweet nectar of freshly sprouted glass, and the grounded earthiness of tree trunks beneath the forest canopy. The fragrance embraces galbanum as its ambrosial core, in which the aromatic gum resin from the Ferula plant is revitalised from its wild, vegetal state. The centuries-old component is embedded with cedarwood extracted from repurposed carpentry wood, the emollience of sandalwood, and the brisk freshness of ginger. Fruity, zesty top layers of bergamot add a full-bodied lift to the formulation. Each ingredient in LVERS is based on long-standing cultural healing practices to emulate the idea of the sun’s therapeutic energy.

The bottle is moulded in the signature Louis Vuitton Les Parfums cylindrical silhouette, alongside a prismatic finish that manipulates the sunlight. Accompanying the LVERS fragrance are the new green Damoflage travel case and fragrance trunk.

The LVERS Eau de Parfum is now available in stores and online.
