Bvlgari’s Serpenti Infinito Campaign Unveils Mesmerising Jewellery For The Year Of The Snake

Bvlgari extends its Serpenti offerings with snakes in every precious metal and gemstone.

The snake has inspired countless artistic creations but, in the world of jewellery, no house is more closely intertwined with this year’s zodiac animal than Bvlgari. The snake first appeared as a motif in the 1940s in the form of the Tubogas Snake jewel watch, which became a showstopper when Elizabeth Taylor wore it in the 1962 film Cleopatra. It has since made innumerable appearances across its high and fine jewellery collections in addition to its watch and handbag collections, making it part of the Roman luxury house’s legacy.

For the year of the snake, Bvlgari fittingly launches its Serpenti Infinito campaign to celebrate its timeless icon, with a series of travelling exhibitions, various initiatives and, of course, new jewellery creations. The concept introduces the perpetual journey of transformation of a sign endlessly reborn, renewed and reinvented in new forms, each embodying its ability to leave a lasting mark in the world of jewellery.

Bvlgari’s Tubogas technique first revolutionised the industry by combining artistry with mechanical innovation in a coiled yet flexible design that mimics a serpent’s body, all without soldering. This has now metamorphosed into the alluring Serpenti Tubogas Necklace as part of its fine jewellery collection. The 18K yellow gold necklace comprises flexible Tubogas spirals, with demi pavé diamonds interspersed throughout is head, tail and body. With mesmerising black onyx eyes, the piece adds magnetism to its wearer to hypnotise all who behold it. And for those who’d prefer to have the gold snake slither up their arm, there is a version in bracelet form.

As part of its high jewellery offerings, the Serpenti Infinito necklace depicts several snakes intertwining in an endless loop of beautifully woven onyx elements, buff-top rubies, and pave diamonds that gleam from every angle.

Additionally, connoisseurs of exquisite rings will be enchanted by the four Serpenti rings, where a miniature version of the mythical serpent appears to coil around the wearer’s finger. The pieces, which will be launched in only selected boutiques worldwide, entrance with touches of colour and precious gemstones that displays the inimitable mastery of Bvlgari. Three of these dazzling pieces have been crafted in rose gold and fully encrusted with multi-sized diamonds, while sapphire, rubies or emerald beads bring the creature to life on its eyes and body. Rounding up the glittering quartet is a full diamond iteration in white gold, which captivates with the ultimate brilliance of its baguette- and brilliant-cut gems.
