Introducing the Rolls-Royce Scent, a fragrance concept as refined as its motor cars. Just as a Rolls-Royce is more than a vehicle, the Rolls-Royce Scent is more than just an aroma; it is an invitation to pure sensory indulgence.
The fragrance makes its debut within the starlit interiors of the bespoke Roll-Royce Phantom, encased in a flacon adorned with the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy emblem. Crafted by an in-house perfumer from the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective—an expert team of designers, engineers and craftspeople—the fragrance is a masterful blend of Amyris, Cedarwood, Rosewood and Iris. It is velvety, sophisticated and deeply comforting.
In the world of Rolls-Royce, where every detail is curated with the utmost care, each element is carefully selected to embody the pinnacle of perfection. From biochemistry to haute parfumerie, experts are involved in every decision, whether it’s choosing the finest leathers, woods, wools and tactile surfaces, or protective lacquers and dyes. It’s important to note that most of these materials carry its own scent. As such, every component of the Rolls-Royce Scent is made to complement the atmosphere of the car’s interior.
“This fragrance elevates the already peerless Rolls-Royce experience, creating an environment that is even more special, and absolutely unmistakable,” Martina Starke, general manager, Bespoke Design, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said in a statement.
Using patented technology, the marque also presents a unique scent-diffuser to accompany the fragrance, delivering an olfactory experience in suitably delicate doses with long-lasting impact. Rigorous testing was done to analyse the fragrance under both static and dynamic conditions, as well as its exposure to a range of temperature and humidity variations. More than 30 iterations were completed, before the balance between longevity and subtlety was perfected, ensuring a consistency that upholds Rolls-Royce’s exacting standards.
The impression a Rolls-Royce commands is impossible to forget, yet only Rolls-Royce could come up with an idea as brilliant as Rolls-Royce Scent to further enhance its legacy, leaving an indelible signature with its powerful presence.
