During my recent visit, I opt for something new, foregoing the usual massage and spa options in favour of the Moisturising Classic Combination Facial, using Babor’s Skinovage skincare line. An acclaimed German-based brand, Babor is famed for its professional-grade formulations and cosmetics, offering tailored solutions even for reactive and delicate complexions like mine. For this session in particular, my therapist suggests a 60-minute tired skin combination ritual to awaken my skin.
The facial unfolds in two phases: warmth to relax the skin and unclog pores, followed by a cooling effect to energise and refresh. First, a thorough deep cleansing to purify my skin, removing any build-up to ensure optimal absorption and a fresh canvas for my facial ahead.
