Have you ever taken a walk through nature and wished you could take a flower in bloom home and preserve it forever? Nature’s first act is when French maison Van Cleef & Arpels truly shines—capturing the fleeting beauty of the season with delicate, exquisite creations. This year, its charming Lucky Spring collection, which was first introduced in 2021, is enhanced with four new pieces: two pendants, a Between the Finger Ring, and a bracelet.
Nature motifs, such as blossoming flowers or butterflies in motion, have inspired the maison in the past, focusing on different facets of springtime symbolism, artistry, and mood each time. Like the 2023 collection, which garnered significant acclaim, the 2025 series includes motifs such as ladybugs, lily of the valley buds, and plum blossoms—now with richer detailing.

Van Cleef & Arpel’s themes of luck and nature appear in a palette of rose gold, white mother-of-pearl, onyx, and carnelian. The savoir-faire of the maison’s artisans are reflected in the precision and meticulousness of the creation process, which includes the traditional technique of lost-wax casting, followed by the individual reworking of each golden bead.
A particularly lovely piece is the Lucky Spring Between the Finger Ring, where a ladybug is perched on one finger, with a plum blossom and lily of the valley bud on another. The statement piece is a harmony of brilliant carnelian, deep black onyx, and delicately iridescent white mother-of-pearl, all outlined with dainty golden beads.
The adorable critter, with its wings spread, appears to have just landed near the wearer’s neck, with its rounded body revealed in mirror-polished gold. It also appears as part of the five motifs Lucky Spring bracelet, along with a plum blossom, two lily of the valley buds, and a leaf. Rounding up the collection is a plum blossom pendant, which symbolises the arrival of spring, strength, and purity in Japan.
