Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur Returns With Dine With Chef Series 2025
Throughout May, Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is reigniting the city’s culinary spirit with the return of its celebrated dining series, Dine With Chef 2025. Now in its second year, the month-long affair takes on the theme Newstalgia: Memories Reinvented—a creative exploration of nostalgic flavours reimagined through the lens of modern gastronomy. The concept draws on the emotional warmth of childhood staples, elevated with indulgent touches and cross-cultural influences. In addition to dynamic collaborations with local and international chefs, the series also welcomes culinary talents from the newly opened Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur, along with upcoming venues Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur and Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur. Guests can look forward to an orchestrated dining experience, featuring a collection of curated menus, immersive settings, and personal interactions with the chefs.

Only 250 units of each silhouette will be available worldwide. Prices for the limited-edition pieces range from RM3,440 to RM10,560.
Chopard Crafts Palme d’Or And Other Trophies For The 78th Cannes Film Festival
While glancing through past photos of the Cannes Film Festival’s red carpet (taking place from 13 to 24 May this year), you’ve probably noticed Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie creations adorning the greatest film stars such as Charlize Theron. Since 1998, the Swiss maison has also been the official partner of the festival, designing and creating the Palme d’Or as well as all Festival awards. Chopard’s co-president and artistic director Caroline Scheufele is attributed with first turning it into a veritable piece of jewellery, comprising 19 leaflets in 18-carat yellow gold, and mounted on a rock crystal cushion hand-cut like a diamond. This year, the Palme d’Or celebrates its 70th anniversary, and at least 70 hours of work and expertise are poured into creating the trophy at Chopard’s workshops in Geneva.
Fendi and Red Wing Collaborate To Reimagine The Iconic Heritage Classic Moc Boot
To celebrate Fendi’s 100th anniversary and Red Wing’s 120 years of shoemaking heritage, the worlds of Italian luxury and American craftsmanship collide in Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Every pair involves the work of more than 30 artisans and 80 steps. This includes the iconic FF interlace workmanship being threaded by hand onto the Red Wing’s Classic Moc boot silhouette by the skilled leather goods artisans from the Fendi Factory in Capannuccia, Tuscany. The upper is then sent to the US where the product is constructed by hand by using Red Wing’s traditional shoe-making processes and methods. The limited-edition boots, created with busy women in mind, are available in two colourways: sienna red and natural beige.
Nobu Kuala Lumpur Debuts Month-Long Maguro Osusume Whole-Tuna Menu
For the whole month of May, Nobu Kuala Lumpur will serve a special Maguro Osusume menu that honours sustainably sourced bluefin tuna from head to tail. Prices range from RM70 to RM250, with a portion of each bill donated to Food Bank Malaysia. The celebration peaks on 9 May 2025 at 6pm when the restaurant stages its first live bluefin tuna auction, letting diners bid for premium cuts and have them prepared à la minute. Guests can sign up for this exclusive experience here. The menu is available for lunch and dinner throughout the month.
