In the heart of Japan’s most bustling metropolis, Palace Hotel Tokyo is redefining luxury travel with the debut of its ‘JAXURY at Palace Hotel Tokyo’ stay package, a limited-time offer that presents guests with an elegant immersion into Japanese aesthetics and craftsmanship. The package is part of the hotel’s ‘Best of Japan’ series in collaboration with the JAXURY Consortium, a luxury-oriented research collective that platforms the best of Japanese luxury.

This year marks the fifth consecutive year in which JAXURY has recognised Palace Hotel Tokyo for its exemplary embodiment of ‘Japan’s Authentic Luxury’. Aptly so, the hotel serves as the setting for the consortium’s latest cultural offering, a curated showcase of products that embody the values of authenticity, harmony with nature, and beauty in the mundane. At the centre of the experience is a stay in the hotel’s exclusive JAXURY Room—a balcony room outfitted with a selection of artisan pieces designed to enhance the stay experience through sight, sound, and touch. Highlights include a sculptural glass speaker, handcrafted lanterns and mirror, organic cotton comforts, refined woodwork, and richly textured textiles; each is a veritable pièce de résistance of a unique Japanese brand that has displayed mastery in its niche.

Beyond the room, a series of culinary and sensory experiences further immerses guests in Japanese luxury. At Wadakura, the hotel’s signature Japanese restaurant, their artful kaiseki dinner is further elevated with the incorporation of lacquerware, ceramics, and porcelain sculpted by the hands of master artisans. Guests may also enjoy a bespoke cocktail at Lounge Bar Privé, crafted in inspiration of the premier perfumer, Parfum Satori, and paired with wagashi by Japanese confectionery Higashiya. Otherwise, guests can savour a coupling of Suntory’s Yamazaki whisky and Maison Cacao chocolate at The Palace Lounge while sating the auricular senses with live jazz.
Optional off-site excursions deepen one’s cultural immersion thanks to options including an Edo Kiriko glass-cutting workshop at Horiguchi Kiriko’s atelier; a guided walkthrough of nishijin-ori weaving at HOSOO’s Tokyo boutique; or an exploration of Japanese fragrance at Parfum Satori’s atelier in Roppongi. Each experience is led by artisans and includes take-home mementos that reflect the spirit of craftsmanship and personal enrichment.

Starting from JPY477,000, the package includes a two-night stay at the JAXURY balcony room, daily breakfast, and a JAXURY dinner and cocktail serving, with additional off-site activities available at an additional cost. The package is offered until 15 March 2026.
