TWIL: Fred’s Nine-Piece Chance Infinie Collection, Balenciaga’s Ten New Fragrances, And More

Catch up on this week’s most noteworthy updates from the universe of luxury.

In our weekly TWIL series, we bring you the latest in luxury news from around the world. This week’s highlights: Fred’s Chance Infinie collection of nine high-jewellery pieces, Balenciaga’s line of ten new fragrances, and more.

Fred’s Chance Infinie Collection Adds A Feminine Spin To Its Iconic Motif

The collection introduces nine unique Jewellery and High Jewellery pieces, which feature a redesign of its iconic motif—now with a feminine edge. The maison’s signature sideways eight-shape is entangled with an incomplete ribbon, signifying that the eternal flow of destiny is forged in unshakeable connections between loved ones. A pear diamond rests in the centre of each piece, alongside a pavé of brilliant-cut diamonds. Combined with the original motif’s carpe diem concept, the creations channel the radiant power latent within every woman and encourage them to seize every moment. Featuring a necklace, a ring, and a pair of earrings available in pink and white gold, the fluid lines and gentle glow of the High Jewellery set is the ethereal epitome of Chance Infinie.

Balenciaga Unveils A Collection Of Ten Fragrances

The collection pays tribute to Cristóbal Balenciaga and the maison’s first perfume, Le Dix, 75 years after its naissance. Of the fragrances are No Comment, a woody, verdant fragrance exuding a quiet confidence; 100%, a rosy, floral fragrance that leaves a lingering sillage of glamour; and Cristóbal, an enigmatic fragrance that layers the preciousness of real Assafi oud essence with a sensual double-thread weaving of glowing patchouli and oak moss. Featuring a glass globular cap and hand-tied ribbon, the refillable flacons that contain the scents are encased in boxes that revive the original design of Le Dix, its logotype resurfacing on the exterior, nestled within Balenciaga’s signature industrial grey packaging—a metaphor for the fusion of past and present, and a testament to the trace of time.

Introducing The Prada Paradigme Eau de Parfum For Men

The new masculine fragrance from Prada Beauty is warm, fresh, and sophisticated. The scent has a base of Ambery Woods, bright and energetic, while its centre of Bourbon Geranium is crisp and confident. Then, the top notes bring a natural energy and uplifting aura, thanks to the Calabrian Bergamot heart. The eau de parfum is a collaboration between three renowned performers—Marie Salamagne, Bruno Jovanovic, and Nicolas Bonneville—and is available in 10ml (travel size), 50ml, 100ml, and 150ml. The latter is refillable, which helps to save 65 per cent glass, 75 per cent plastic, and 100 per cent metal. Tom Holland is the face of the Prada Paradigme campaign—subtle, witty, and electric, all at once.

Christofle And Mathias Kiss Present Ultra-Contemporary Pieces In The Perspectives Collection

The artist, craftsman, and contemporary art connoisseur, Mathias Kiss, brings his personal touch and love for rigorously structured sculptures to the Perspectives Collection, a collaboration with luxury brand Christofle. Six distinct pieces invite various combinations and arrangements, including the candleholders, candelabras, and vase, all of which mirror the unique forms of architectural wall mouldings. They sport tastefully reshaped continuous lines, created using cutting-edge new technologies and expert craftsmanship. These include a mortise-and-tenon technique drawn from woodworking, typical of Kiss’ eclectic portfolio, as well as a classic Christofle dazzling finish, achieved through vacuum-applied PVD film. Pay particular attention to the faceted glass vase: a technical triumph constructed with 12 bespoke translucent panels, fused through UV-cured adhesive, and completed with a meticulous manual polish.

The Christofle collections are available at Bangsar Shopping Centre and Seibu The Exchange TRX.
