Robb Report Malaysia’s recent edition of Dream Machines recently turned the Arden gallery, located in the heart of Johor Bahru, into a haven for British automotive royalty. Here, in Peninsular Malaysia’s buzzing southern city, more than 30 of Robb Report Malaysia’s guests were welcomed into this swish gallery space to participate in its Dream Machines driving experience, which showcased the iconic automotive choice of James Bond, fiction’s most popular Secret Service agent.

Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur, the official and sole dealer of the marque in Malaysia, opened with test drives of its powerful DBX707 Super SUV, one of the most popular models from the marque’s stable. The model’s latest refresh inside the cockpit introduces a new infotainment system developed in-house at Aston Martin, which first landed in the DB12. Its touchscreens are kitted with Pure Black technology with the highest definition display in its class, with a response rate of 30 milliseconds, across 12.3in of screen real estate.

Meanwhile, the new Aston Martin Vantage drew plenty of interest, with its dynamic sports car appearance turning heads. This recent model is powered by a hand-crafted, all-aluminium 4.0l V8 twin-turbo powerplant, with best-in-class outputs of 680PS and 800Nm, enabling the Vantage to make the century sprint in 3.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 325km/h.

Inside the gallery space, guests were also acquainted with the upcoming Arden Serviced Residence—an incoming landmark project for Johor Bahru city. Since its March 2025 launch, the project has garnered an 80 per cent sales take-up rate of its 618 total units. One of its most innovative offerings is its Hotel Stay Management programme, in which owners may also opt in to a professionally managed short-term rental scheme of their units, ranging between 797 sq ft and 1,700 sq ft in size. More than 50 lifestyle-oriented facilities mean that owners, or their guests, will never be short of activities in a space designed as an inspired hotel setting, featuring, among others, a karaoke lounge, sky dining, co-working spaces, indoor golf simulators, and amenities for young ones.
