Montblanc celebrates the Year of the Snake with a curated collection of gifts inspired by the artistry of calligraphy and the cultural wealth of Chinese craftsmanship. Leading the collection is the Meisterstück Calligraphy Solitaire Celadon Dégradé fountain pen, equipped with a curved nib—particularly suited for Chinese, Japanese and Korean calligraphy, as well as for sketching and design work. The pen’s cap and barrel are covered in a gradient translucent lacquer in jade-inspired celadon green, a colour that nods to the revered celadon porcelain of ancient China. Beneath the lacquer, an intricate gold-toned engraving reimagines the geometric zig-zag patterns commonly seen in bamboo weaving. Complementing this are leather goods and writing accessories from the Extreme 3.0 Collection, all available in jade tones. The range includes pen holders, elastic pen pouches, and notebooks in various sizes.
Parmigiani Fleurier’s New Minute Repeater Pays Tribute To Its Founder Michel Parmigiani
Parmigiani Fleurier’s Armoriale Répétition Mystérieuse is purity and purpose—a minute repeater that expresses what the complication used to stand for. The dial—more of a case front, really—holds no information. It is blank except for the exquisite guilloché pattern on green translucent enamel. The point of a minute repeater, after all, is to tell the time with sound—the lever on the side will activate the cathedral gongs, sounding the time through delicate chiming. Concealed on the caseback is the time indication—a subtle, circumferential hour and minute indicator mounted on a disc of white jade. Housed in a 42mm white gold case, this watch is the first in a series of five unique pieces.
