At the IMM Cologne and Maison & Objet fairs in January, French brand Ligne Roset introduced the world to its 2018 collection. Ranging from cutting-edge sofas and cool chairs, to innovative shelves and fanciful lighting, the 35 piece range has something to suit all tastes, while adhering to Ligne Roset’s classically sophisticated style.
Of particular note is the PaiPaï by LucidiPevere, a soft and delicate sofa that looks just invitingly comfortable, in a pixelated grey or minty green patterned fabric. Also grabbing attention was the modular L’imprévu sofa set by Marie Christine Dorner, the puffy cloud-like Serpentine sofa and chair by Éléonore Nalet, the curious Geoffrey mirror/clothes stand by Alain Gilles, the sumptuous Gavrinis 3 rugs by Pierre Paulin and the Canaletto storage unit by Mauro Lipparini. Ligne Roset also reached back into the past to re-issue the Bonnie sofa, first produced in 1975, as part of its ongoing effort to spotlight the genius of French designer Pierre Paulin.
