Last year the Mitsui Garden Hotel Yotsuya in Tokyo unveiled special crying rooms designed for female guests to “de-stress”, complete with “luxury” tissues, eye-masks and a range of tear-jerking films. To mark this innovation, here is a selection of hotel industry firsts.
