This single-pilot, twin-engine Embraer Phenom 100E, which the company began delivering in 2014, is an enhanced and more efficient version of its phenomenally successful predecessor, the Phenom 100. For the new version, the company tweaked the brakes and added spoilers to improve landing performance, but kept the roomy cabin and operating costs competitive. Embraer has also made several formerly optional features standard, including an enhanced takeoff package with extra thrust reserve, a 150kg increase in useful load, and synthetic vision for the cockpit. Embraer is based in Brazil, but the Phenom 100E is assembled in Florida, where clients can visit the design centre and choose from 11 new interior colour schemes. Five passengers can travel in the cabin, which offers a new refreshment centre and optional swivelling seats.
