Royal Selangor’s Marvel Collection brings superheroes to the table top

Comic book fan or not, the immense worldwide success of the Marvel films means characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Spider-Man are more popular than ever. Royal Selangor, in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company Malaysia, can now offer its unique take on the superheroes.

Highlighting the collection are a pair of nine-inch pewter statues. One is of Iron Man, standing ready in his armour with palm blaster extended. The other is of Spider-Man in one of his signature poses — clinging to the side of a building with web-shooter ready to fire. Both these statues are exquisitely detailed, from the intricate plates and joints of Iron Man’s armour, to the fine lines and musculature of Spider-Man’s outfit. Each is limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide.

For something a little less intimidating, consider one of the miniatures of Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor and Captain America. These smaller statues stand with adorable cartoon proportions in their classic comic costumes. To announce your comic fandom in more subtle but still refined fashion, lapel pins representing Captain America, Iron Man and Spider-Man are also available.
