An Omar Khan rug is more than just a floor covering, it is a visual statement. Malaysian designer Khan’s unique aesthetic is an amalgamation of his multi-racial background and multi-cultural upbringing, and his rugs can be found in prestigious projects the world over. This gift is your entry into the world of Omar Khan Rugs, where the designer himself will create you a one-of-a-kind rug.

The journey begins with a personalised consultation to create a bespoke rug using the Khan’s Couture collection as a template to suit the space you have in mind. Each design will be exclusive to the gift buyer. Then join Khan himself on a three day, two night trip to Bangkok to visit the rug facility where you’ll select yarns and colours for your custom design. Accommodation will be at Khan’s favourite bolthole in Bangkok – the eclectic Cabochon Hotel – and you’ll also join Khan for a private dining session at his favourite restaurant, Karmakamet Diner, which evolved from an essential oils store into a beautifully perfumed restaurant.
