The menu at Ruyi & Lyn always contains a little twist, and this year’s Chinese New Year offerings at the Bangsar Shopping Complex restaurant is no different. Various set menus and a la carte dishes will whet the appetite – including Midori-baked Cod Fish, South Star Grouper soup, Long Live The Lamb, Drunken River Prawns and Crispy 3-layer Nian Gao – but the star highlight is the Yee Sang. There is the Moet et Chandon Champagne Yee Sang, where a 750ml bottle of bubbly will liven up the tossing, but this year’s star is the Wong Choy Paws-perity Yee Sang with salted egg yolk cripsy fish skin and Atlantic salmon, arranged to look like an adorable puppy.
