It’s not every day where you get to delight in Basque cuisine, so imagine our delight when Atlas bar in Singapore unveiled its new bi-monthly executive lunch menu featuring just that. Chef Daniele Sperindio has taken inspiration from the Basque Country and brings us the region’s culinary classics.
For those not in the know, the Basque Country is located in the western Pyrenees and straddles the border between France and Spain on the coast of the Bay of Biscay.
Highlights in the menu include pintxos (tapas), a bean stew with baked tomatoes and black pudding and cod served with garlic chips and parsley potatoes. Also not to be missed is Arroz con leche, a rice and milk dessert. The set lunch menu is available from 11.30am till 3pm, and guests can select either a two- or three-course menu (SG$38++ or SG$48++). Wine pairings are also available.
The Basque Country menu is available from now until end June.
