Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills has partnered with Canadian luxury tea blender, Tealeaves and the Los Angeles Ballet to launch a specialty “The Nutcracker” afternoon tea offered in the Lobby Lounge through December 31, 2017.
Tealeaves often curates experiences that support craft and afford the opportunity to spend quality time with others alongside afternoon tea. “The Nutcracker” tea menu at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills offers a twist to the traditional afternoon tea, themed after the story of “The Nutcracker“, with the main goal of supporting the arts.
Executive Chef Steve Benjamin designed the limited-time menu around Tealeaves’ Nutcracker blend, available only during the holidays. “The Nutcracker” Afternoon Tea menu includes Chestnut and Mushroom Pie, Finger Turkey Sandwich, Smoked Salmon Sandwich on Pumpernickel Bread, Pumpkin Quiche with Butter Squash, Shrimp Tempura with Cranberry sweet and sour sauce, and Gruyere popovers followed by an assortment of sweet treats along with Tealeaves Nutcracker blend tea. The menu is offered at US$85++ per person.
