Mandarin Oriental, Munich has partnered with Essence of Chi to launch an exclusive accommodation package, which provides fragrances for guests. Essence of Chi is the world’s first perfumery to combine western haute perfumerie with the traditional Chinese philosophy of balancing the five elements of water, wood, fire, earth and metal.

Guests booking the Elemental Discovery accommodation package will stay in one of Mandarin Oriental, Munich’s luxury suites. Upon arrival, they will find samples of the five elemental scents created by Essence of Chi in their suite (15ml each) from which they can choose their favourite. Once chosen, guests will be gifted a large bottle of their chosen element (100 ml).

Essence of Chi’s creative head, Deana Wyland-Fries, has collaborated with Master Perfumer, Sylvain Fourré, to combine fragrances for the company’s five unforgettable essences inspired by the traditional Chinese philosophy of the five elements.

The Elemental Discovery package is valid for overnight stays starting from July 2016. Rates start from EUR 1,255 per night for a two-night stay.
