Capture a total solar eclipse at Amangani, Wyoming, USA

June 20, 2017

For the first time since 1978, a total solar eclipse of the sun will be happening this summer on 21st August 2017, falling across the entire United States. Situated on a private mountain in Wyoming, Amangani is one of the best places to view the eclipse and celebrate this unparalleled astronomical event in the US history.

During the week of the total solar eclipse, Amangani has tailored a list of stargazing activities ranging from a laser-guided tour, exploring the mysterious universe and its evolution with Dr. Matthew Bobrosky to enjoying a poolside celebration as the sun’s bright face is replaced by the black disk of the Moon.

Every Amangani Home is a reflection of the architectural frame and aesthetics of Amangani which also means ‘Peaceful Home’. The East Tatanka Home which is available for the solar eclipse is a short distance down the butte from Amangani and is about at 10-minute walk or less than a minute drive.

Gathering family and friends together for this exceptional astronomical event, the East Tatanka Home has three bedrooms with king sized beds and a fourth bedroom with four twin beds. With large stone terraces, there is a spacious living, dining room and kitchen with amazing views of the Grand Tetons as well as an exercise studio to maintain guests’ regular fitness routine.
