Lake living over aged rums, cigars and the beautiful Shama Medini project

On a recent Friday night, Robb Report Malaysia, together with property developer UMLand, offered selected readers and guests a glimpse of the Shama Medini project, the latest jewel in the UMCity Medini Lakeside gateway.

Guests were given a primer into the investment potential of Shama Medini, an evolution on the serviced apartment concept. With hotel management by the Onyx Hospitality Group, the Shama Medini project will be the first Malaysian property in the Shama collection which appears in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Hangzhou and Bangkok.

The night also witnessed the inception of the delicious West Indies-blended Pyrat rum, which was among the many aged rums – such as Ron Zacapa 23, Diplomatico, Havana Club and Mount Gay XO – that served as a complement to the fine Cohiba and Montecristo cigars that night. Guests were entertained by the canapes, rum-infused cocktails and a lively salsa band by the poolside of Suasana Bukit Ceylon.
