E&O’s Conlay Continues A Legacy Of Great Hospitality While Living In The Heart Of Kuala Lumpur

Weaving space design and craftsmanship into one, Conlay by E&O is poised to become an iconic addition to Kuala Lumpur’s eclectic cityscape. This Kerry Hill-designed building is a serviced residence backed by the long heritage of E&O’s storied hospitality – a lineage which began with the Sarkies brothers who established the hotel in 1885. A recent afternoon at E&O’s show gallery on Jalan Tun Razak in the heart of Kuala Lumpur highlighted the project’s multifaced appeal, from its proximity to healthcare, entertainment, shopping, and connectivity, to the many unique architectural touches and amenities for its residents.

Adding to the afternoon’s Japanese theme – Conlay is jointly developed by E&O and Mitsui Fudosan of Japan – was Grand Seiko, who showcased a range of their elegant timepieces, including leading lights from its Elegance collection such as the limited editions SBGK002 – an 18k rose gold case with red urushi lacquered dial and finished with a Mount Iwate pattern, and SBGK004, with its unique black Urushi lacquer dial. For the ladies, premium Japanase skincare brand Decorte was on hand with a pampering session featuring their AQ Meliority range, while the whimsical Hendricks added to the event’s gaiety with its delicious gin and tonic concoctions redolent of Japanese cucumbers and rose petals.
