Living Beautifully At Wolo Mont Kiara KL With Jacqueline Tiang And Bang & Olufsen
At Wolo Mont Kiara KL, every intricate detail resonates with both the eye and the heart. Together with Bang & Olufsen, Robb Report Malaysia presents a vision of subtle luxury, as seen through Jacqueline Tiang’s lens.
At the recently launched Wolo Mont Kiara KL Experience Lounge, design harmony pervades each facet of the upcoming branded residences of the same name. The 476 units of residences by Magma Property will be housed alongside the 63-room boutique hotel, flagged as a member of Design Hotels under the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio. This design intent carries the careful calibration of a bevy of design auteurs, including the likes of Unscripted Hospitality, Veritas Design Group, Openbox Architects, Ezhen Design, 932 Design Group, The Flaming Beacon, Shma, and BK Advisory Services.
Beneath its spatial narrative lies a disciplined design language in what Alan Wong of Magma Property calls a “comfortable, curated and caretaking platform”—one that places human connection at the forefront. Every fixture, proportion, and material choice speaks to ease and longevity, shaped at a human scale and attuned to the local rhythm of life. It’s a setting that speaks to the soul, not just the eye.

It is here, in this space, that Robb Report Malaysia meets singer and actress Jacqueline Tiang. Her singing career has seen her providing vocal accompaniment to 16-time Grammy Award-winning producer and composer David Foster, the man behind some of contemporary music’s greatest hits such as Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You and Celine Dion’s The Prayer.
“I love freedom,” Tiang says, her voice calm but charged with vitality. “People see me as calm and quiet, but I also have a lively, sporty side, whether that’s horse riding, tennis, or boxing.” But what may appear as leisure is, in fact, part of her readiness for whatever comes next. “You never know what will land on the table. That’s why I stay disciplined by keeping my body and mind prepared for anything. You can’t control everything, but you can control your preparation.”
Physical and mental health are central to Tiang’s life, guiding the choices she makes, from what she consumes to how she thinks. Prayer has long been her anchor. “Listen to the quiet voice in your heart,” she advises. “Honour it, nurture it, and give it space to rest. That, I believe, is essential to the well-being of our heart.” Ever attuned to her own instincts, Tiang believes there’s always a little more to perfect, however small the details. On set, her drive was palpable. “Once I find the mood and rhythm of a shoot, I can’t stop,” she says. “I’m always checking each frame. I want to keep going, to do more, and to make it better. I get completely obsessed.”
Her watchful gaze, alight with strength and grace, adds a distinctly human touch to the Experience Lounge, where a diversity of residential layouts is on display.

Wolo Mont Kiara KL’s branded residences are delivered fully furnished with interiors curated by 932 Design Group. Audio systems and selected lifestyle accessories remain optional enhancements, allowing homeowners to personalise their living experience according to their own preferences.
The Penthouse Collection, designed by 932 Design Group, represents the apex of this vision. Founding partner and chief design officer Low Chee Khiang (CK) shares his approach: “We begin by revisiting the context—the location, the community, and the emotions we want the space to hold. Every home should feel serene and connected to its surroundings. The floorplates, the orientation, even the smallest cultural details are carefully considered to craft a space that feels alive and at ease.”
Andrew Jaques of The Flaming Beacon brings his signature sensibility to the property, emphasising the emotional impact of light. “Lighting plays a huge role in how people experience a space, and sometimes even how they feel about themselves,” he says. In this branded boutique setting, lighting shifts alongside the day and the function of each space. “We want guests to feel welcomed, calm, and relaxed. With subtle adjustments, a room can instantly feel cosy or grand. That kind of transformation is very important to us.”

From one scene to the next, Tiang moves through each room with deliberate grace, as soft soundscapes from Bang & Olufsen wrap around her like a gentle veil. It is in these moments—moving, listening, and observing—her composed demeanour seems to animate the space itself, as it does every frame she touches.
Grace & Poise
In the curated spaces of the Wolo Mont Kiara KL Experience Lounge, sound becomes as much a design element as it is an experience. Bang & Olufsen’s speakers bring a three-dimensional presence to each room, where materiality and form speak the same language as the gallery’s subtle luxury interiors. Each piece is an equilibrium of function and artistry, making audio technology a natural extension of the space.
The Beolab 50 (RM500,000) immediately draws the eye with its sleek, elongated silhouette. Its tall, flowing contours in polished aluminium and warm oak wood lamellas are hallmarks of the brand’s design language. The cabinet tapers subtly toward the base, creating an impression of lightness despite its presence, making it visually sympathetic to contemporary interiors.
A statement in both presence and performance, the Beosound A9 (fifth generation; RM23,500) is an architectural focal point in any room. Its minimalist circular profile, ringed with precision-milled aluminium and perched on solid oak legs, evokes the look of a modern art piece.
The Beosound A5 (RM8,400) is a portable speaker that’s light on footprint, yet mighty in performance. Its sculpted edges, sleek finishes, and tactile fabrics offer a stylish accent that nestles seamlessly into any corner.
