The New Generation 7000 Range From Miele Is A Must For Every Kitchen
If there was a silver lining from the incredible global events of 2020, is that the prolonged, enforced period of staying in has decidedly upgraded the cooking skills of many. That experience will also undoubtedly have made them savvy to what is really useful and important to have in terms of appliances. Aesthetically pleasing coupled with high performance, the new Generation 7000 series from Miele represents the largest product launch in its entire history – which spans across four generations of its founding families. This series incorporates built-in kitchen appliances from ovens and hob units to steam ovens, coffee machines and dishwashers.
Among the highlights feature a new full-surface induction hobs on a ceramic glass screen (for up to six pots and pans), to a pyrolytic self-cleaning oven, which relays images in HD quality to a smartphone for remote viewing of doneness.
It’s clear that Miele, as the choice home appliance of star chefs worldwide such as Gaggan Anand, Helena Rizzo of Sao Paulo’s Mani and Kyle Connaughton of California’s Single Thread, has made it a singular pursuit to ensure meals are perfectly crafted with temperature precision and a patented DualSteam technology which distributes steam evenly across the oven cavity, intelligent enough to steam a salmon and soufflé together without mixing tastes. This is ably augmented by the Miele-exclusive TasteControl feature whereby the oven door swings open at the end of the programme, and a cooling fan sets in to go into food-warming mode thereby preventing latent overcooking.
This entire line is what celebrated Malaysia chef James Won – who was present to showcase some select dishes using the Generation 7000 series – calls “a collection made for those who love cooking.”
