Look closely and there’s a hint of what lies within this cool line of camera bags. Across all six bags in the Ona for Leica line – oops, we gave it away! – is a discreet red dot, the signature element of Leica cameras. Designed as a follow-up to the Ona ‘Berlin II’ bag from 2014, the Ona for Leica line adds more variety, luxury and options of how to haul your Leica gear around.
First up is The Bowery for Leica, a traditional camera bag with enough space for a Leica M-Camera and up to two M-lenses with added space for accessories. The Prince Street for Leica is a shoulder-slung satchel, while The Brixton for Leica is a larger option. These three models come in five different options – two shades of Italian leather (Antique Cognac or Dark Truffle) and three-shades of water-repellent waxed canvas (Black, Field Tan and Smoke).
The Camps Bay for Leica and The Roma for Leica are two differing bag styles – both in water-repellent canvas – the former being a high-capacity rucksack and the latter is a compact messenger bag offering optimum storage in a small space. Then there is the Berlin II for Leica, a sequel to the 2014 bag available in Black or Vintage Bourbon leather only, updated in small, subtle ways.
