By Robb Report Editorial | May 22, 2026

In our weekly series, we bring you the latest in luxury news from around the world. This week’s highlights: Louis Vuitton debuts a sunset-inspired eau de parfum, Richard Mille introduces a timepiece equipped with football match-tracking features, and Cartier’s stunning addition to its Grain De Café collection.

Louis Vuitton Introduces A New Eau De Parfum

Inspired by the golden hour—the brief moment at sunset when the sky glows with a deep amber hue—Ambre Levant centres on a rich interplay between amber and oud, combining traditional perfumery materials with a contemporary sensibility. Created by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, the composition opens with mandarin and a warm blend of cardamom, cinnamon, white pepper, and saffron, before unfolding into an amber accord built around labdanum, white incense, and ambergris. At its core is an exclusive oud essence sourced from Sylhet, Bangladesh, through Louis Vuitton’s partnership with a family of artisans that has cultivated and distilled oud for more than 200 years. This rare ingredient, which takes up to 30 years to reach full maturity, lends the fragrance depth, sensuality, and refinement.

Presented in Louis Vuitton’s signature refillable flacon, tinted in a warm amber-black gradient, Ambre Levant reflects the glowing tones of its inspiration. The eau de parfum is available in 100 and 200 ml flacons at selected Louis Vuitton boutiques and online.

Richard Mille Welcomes The World Cup Season With The RM 41-01 Tourbillon Soccer

Traditional high horology aside—and there is plenty of it here—the Richard Mille RM 41-01 Tourbillon Soccer also includes a complete set of features to keep track of a match. Independent counters keep track of the goal count for both teams, incremented by the pushers on the right side of the case. On the left, there are controls for the flyback chronograph, marked appropriately for stoppage time at the end of each 45-minute half—and 15-minute overtime periods, should it come to that. The flyback reset is tied to the all-new complication: a match-time indicator at 9 o’clock, which automatically flips to denote first and second halves, then first and second overtime periods, whenever the chronograph is reset. It comes in two options of signature tonneau-shaped case: dark blue Quartz TPT, and the all-new Basalt TPT, which is a dark red colour and laced with fibres from the volcanic rock.

The RM 41-01 Tourbillon Soccer is limited to 30 pieces each. The 650-component movement is gloriously skeletonised with a hypermodern, high-tech aesthetic with a recurring girder-like structure, allowing fantastic viewing of its various gears, levers, and fascinating chronograph-linked activations.

Hublot Unveils The Classic Fusion Titanium Retroverse Special Editions With The Hour Glass

Hublot continues to exhibit its daring spirit by breaking the status quo with the Classic Fusion Titanium Retroverse, which operates in an anti-clockwise direction through the HUB1105 self-winding movement, which is specially re-engineered for this collaboration. The movement consists of 63 components and 21 jewels, operating at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 A/H) while providing a robust 48-hour power reserve. A 42 mm case and bezel crafted from brushed blackened aged titanium imbue each timepiece with a distinct character, ensuring no two pieces are the same. This is accompanied by a primary aged calf leather strap and an additional aged alligator strap, both colour-matched to the blue, green, and grey dials. Aimed at serious collectors, production is limited to only 30 pieces per colour.

The timepiece retails at RM50,100 and is only available at The Hour Glass boutiques in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Cartier Expands Its Grain De Café Collection With A Stunning Necklace

The maison’s iconic collection, which was born from a modest coffee bean, has been augmented with the introduction of a dazzling necklace. Yellow gold has been used to craft a mesh that drapes almost elegantly against the body, appearing to sparkle almost sensually with every movement of the wearer. This hand-woven mesh extends from Cartier’s iconic ‘Palmier’ chain, with coffee bean motifs arranged in fringes and accented by diamond settings. Every detail is a display of Cartier’s savoir-faire and technical expertise in an ode to haute couture. The piece fastens with a concealed clasp at the back of the neck.
