Hublot’s new Friend of the Brand is Malaysian hip-hop legend Joe Flizzow

The tension finally lifted at Sage Restaurant and Wine Bar, at The Gardens, Mid Valley City, when Hublot finally announced the first Malaysian Friend of the Brand: rapper and producer extraordinaire, Joe Flizzow.

Kuala Lumpur-born Joe is one of the country’s most notable hip-hop artists and influential personalities. Fans have followed his career for decades up to his wildly popular 2013 album Havoc. He is also the founder of one of Asia’s biggest independent music labels, Kartel Records. Joe’s innovative and trendsetting nature makes him the perfect partner for the Swiss watchmaker.

“Hublot represents constantly evolving tradition,” Joe said. “Being first, unique, different…the brand strives for excellence, and that’s something I can relate to.”

On Joe’s wrist that afternoon was the Spirit of Big Bang in white ceramic. He has also been seen wearing the Classic Fusion, the Classic Fusion Italia Independent Collection, and the Big Bang Unico.
