With the South of France playing a key role in Paul Smith’s latest fashion collection, it was only right for the brand to host an intimate lunch at the gorgeous Lapérouse restaurant in the heart of Paris. Supermodel Malgosia Bela, the new face of the brand, was in attendance, to mark her role as Paul Smith’s first female ambassador for the upcoming seasonal advertising campaign.
Cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, named BBCs Young Musician of 2016, kick-started the Sunday luncheon by performing a medley of pieces from his latest album – “Inspiration” – inviting a warm glow to the grand rooms of Lapérouse. Lunch commenced after with good food and lively conversation. Guests included Anna Brewster, Laura Carmichael, Michael Fox, Niall Horan, Flo Morrissey, Tinie Tempah and Martha Ward. All of whom were stylishly sporting the brands’ apparel and were then later introduced to the Autumn/Winter ’18 collection at the Cite de la Mode et du Design on Quai D’Austerlitz.
With Malgosia Bela’s effortless beauty coupled by Paul Smith’s flawless cut and discreet elegance, it is clear that they complement each other extremely well. The supermodel is set to appear in the Spring/Summer ’18 advertising campaign launching on 19 February, 2018.
