the vivid Cervélo P5X Lamborghini edition is designed for triathlons
Now here’s a surprise. Canadian track bicycle manufacturer Cervélo Cycles has teamed up with none other than Lamborghini for the Cervélo P5X Lamborghini edition. Meant to be used as a sturdy triathlon bike – and not for a trip down to the grocers – this limited edition is a speed machine on two wheels, one that is meant to propel an athlete forward in between completing a swim and racing for a run.
It certainly catches the eye as well. The yellow-and-black body artwork is by Automobili Lamborghini’s Centro Stile, featuring the Italian marque’s signature yellow topcoat and a graphic Y-shaped pattern on the frame and fork. Engineered to be the fastest, most technologically advanced triathlon bike, only 25 examples have been produced, priced at US$20,000 (RM79,650) each.
