Minotti Italian Furniture Adds Impeccable Elegance To Your Home And Office Spaces

Minotti, the Italian furniture and accessory brand, creates the pieces architects and interior designers would be proud to display in their own homes. Central to the company’s ethos is the ‘Made in Italy” concept, which marries the savoir-faire of skilled artisans with modern technologies to create furnishings that exude aesthetic understatement and timeless elegance.

The third-generation family-run company has shown the same dedication to their craft for over seventy years, resulting in a widespread presence in 63 countries. The strength of Minotti’s craftsmanship lies in four areas – residential, hospitality, corporate and yachting – spawning an impressive array of global projects epitomising the very definition of luxury.

Residential

Private home in Bal Harbour, Miami

This home’s design was entrusted to Chad Oppenheim by a father and son duo who purchased the piece of land it resides on in Bal Harbour, an upcoming area north of Miami. Oppenheim decided to create a concept that blended indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a modern structure which mixes Japanese minimalist architecture with lush tropical greenery. Premium materials the likes of American oak is used for the floors, paneling, ceilings and cabinets, travertine for the exterior paving and the pool, as well as glass for the tall sliding windows, serving as picture frames for the surrounding scenic landscape.

The interior design project, a partnership between Minotti Studio with Minotti Miami by DDC, utilises many pieces chosen from the company’s vast collection, such as armchairs from the Rivera series matched with the Sullivan Outdoor coffee table.

Hospitality

The Murray Hotel, Hong Kong

What was once an office building is now transformed into a chic luxury hotel. The Murray is a preservation project by British international studio Foster + Partners and is an iconic landmark a part of Hong Kong’s conserving central projects. The ambitious aim of the project is to reconnect the building with the city by linking the large green spaces flanking the site to the East and West, thus laying the groundwork to facilitate transformation of the public area around the hotel.

Popinjays, the contemporary rooftop bar and restaurant, reflects the city’s cosmopolitan vibes. Its interior spaces sport Aston sofas and lounge little armchairs animated by Cesar side tables, while the terrace features Aston “Cord” Outdoor sofas, armchairs and dining chairs.

The hotel’s upper level suites offer a luxurious stay and a generous living space, which utilises Minotti’s Fulton desk, the Morgan Marble table in the dining room, as well as Aston dining chairs with Aston armchairs and Allen sofas in the lavish relaxing area.

Corporate

Property developer PDG’s office, Melbourne

Melbourne-based property developer PDG appointed interior architecture firm Studio Tate to redesign its headquarters on Swanston Street with the objective to improve internal communication and productivity. The client also had a challenging request – to create an office that aesthetically resembled a home or a hotel instead of a typical workplace. As such, visitors are led to an impressive entrance that echoes the looks of a hotel lobby upon arrival, showcasing Minotti’s Seymour sofa, Leslie armchairs and Catlin coffee table to highlight the use of wood, marble and metal.

Yachting

Custom Line’s flagship yacht Navetta 42

After an impressive debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2018, the Navetta 42, with a length of 41.8 metres and a beam of 8.1 metres, features four decks and a fully-customisable internal layout conceived to offer ensure highly liveable spaces. A majority of the yacht’s colours, finishing, materials, and interior furnishings are chosen by Minotti, courtesy of the renowned Italian architecture and design firm Luca Bombassei Studio. Walnut and dark oak form the dominant colour palette, while grey, beige and a vibrant teal gives the interior design a vivacious contrast.
