Jeweller Tiffany & Co was one fo the many luxury brands to comply with the Movement Control Order (MCO) back in March, which forced brick and mortar stores to rethink their business strategy. In light of the Prime Minister’s announcement of the Conditional Movement Control Order, Tiffany & Co’s Malaysian arm has re-opened its doors from 11 am to 8 pm daily.
To ensure the safest possible customer experience, both the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Suria KLCC boutiques were thoroughly sanitised before it was opened to the public. To maintain cleanliness and hygiene, hand sanitisers are stationed at every entrance, boutique personnel are masked at all times, and store premises are sanitised three times daily. Jewellery are also sanitised before and after every try-on, while a limitation of a maximum of five clients per floor enforces social distancing.
For a more private experience, clients may arrange for a one-on-one appointment, which sees a dedicated staff member assigned to customers to get a more personal hands-on session with the latest pieces on offer, such as the Tiffany T1 from the new T Collection. This new reimagining of the iconic ‘T’ motif, which has been featured in the designs from the jeweller since the 1980s, galvanises the belief that extraordinary can be worn every day.
The new Tiffany T1 is designed by Reed Krakoff, the brand’s chief artistic officer, and will be periodically unveiled over a series of year-long global launches, starting with nine 18k rose gold key styles and an exclusive high jewellery necklace. Five of the nine designs are set with radiant Tiffany diamonds, designed to be bold for women of character in whatever phase of life the wearer may be in, which in turn turns the Tiffany T1 into the ultimate statement piece.
“At Tiffany, we believe that luxury should be effortless and irreverent,” said Krakoff, “While designing Tiffany T1, we wanted to honor the legacy of the iconic ‘T’ motif, but also elevate and modernize it with hand-set diamonds in the beveled edges. Through these pieces, we convey that precious stones aren’t just for special occasions – they can be worn every day as a celebration of yourself.”
Another popular item is the special edition Elssa Peretti bone cuff, created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of this timeless design. Available in a vibrant green, red and blue finish over copper, the bone cuff’s contours elegantly wraps around the wearer’s wrist, invoking an Amazonian sense of strength through the use of colour and elegant design.
If customers are still on the fence about venturing out and are certain about their desired items, the jeweller will deliver your purchase in the most Tiffany way possible via their renowned white glove service.
