On a recent Wednesday morning, the Tiffany & Co boutique in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur was transformed for an intimate breakfast setting for guests of Robb Report Malaysia. Breakfast at Tiffany’s, immortalised in the 1961 film starring Audrey Hepburn as the unmissable Holly Golightly, became a realisation for the select group of guests who arrived at the beautiful Tiffany & Co duplex store with its dramatic spiral staircase, stunning chandeliers and even more impressive jewellery pieces.
Feted with champagne and in between browsing the Tiffany & Co collections such as the Jean Schlumberger Bird on a Rock, guests also tried their hand at tea blending. Starting from a choice of base teas, they then added mixers comprising rose buds, lavender, gingerbread gem, safari sunrise, Earl Grey and lemongrass. The resulting blend was then mixed into a customised Tiffany & Co tea canister.
Guests were then formally welcomed, and then given an exclusive preview to the soon-to-debut Tiffany & Co collection of Lock bracelets, a re-envisioning of the padlock in a way that reflects togetherness. These pieces ranged from yellow, white and rose gold versions, to diamond-accented and full-pave options, sparkling in the morning light.
Breakfast would soon ensue, with croissants and truffle butter, brie toasties and smoked salmon bagels, followed by cold capellini uni, scrambled eggs topped with caviar, and a croiffle with lobster and chives cream. To end was a tart composed of ispahan, raspberry and lychee, as well as tiramisu in a chocolate cup.
