On a bright and breezy Sunday morning, a fleet of Ferraris gathered at the Shell station located at the foothills of Genting Highlands. Here, the members of the Ferrari Owners’ Club Malaysia partook in light refreshments and filled their tanks with the new and improved Shell V-Power Racing. The latter represents Shell’s latest generation of its best-ever premium grade fuel, which cleans 100 per cent thus protecting critical engine parts for optimal engine performance. In trials, it has added additional power and acceleration, becoming the only used, trusted and recommended fuel by the Formula 1 team of Scuderia Ferrari.
“Shell V-Power Racing is designed beyond the realm of conventional fuels to restore up to 100 per cent of your engine performance to keep it running like new, providing customers who wish to experience the thrill and make the most of their journeys on the road,” said Seow Lee Ming, Shell Mobility Malaysia’s general manager, who was present at the recent FOCM Festival. “With the reduction in size, modern engines tend to expose fuels to tougher operating conditions, where dirt can build up. Our Shell V-Power Racing is designed to work even more effectively under these conditions. It restores up to 100 per cent of your engine performance to keep it running like new.”
In tribute of the 100 per cent cleaning power and 100 per cent restoration of engine performance, the FOCM fleet of Ferraris formed the figure ‘100’ to commemorate the Shell V-Power Racing fuel as well as the club’s partnership with Shell, the official partner of team Scuderia Ferrari, the Formula 1 racing outfit of the Cavallino Rampante. Up top in Genting Highlands, FOCM members savoured the cool and pure mountain air, and duly indulged in a delicious repast at Genting Grand’s Coffee Terrace, the scene of many memorable and happy times.
