Piaget Celebrates Its 150th Anniversary With A Limited-Edition Timepiece
Piaget celebrates its 150th anniversary with the release of its newest limited-edition timepiece, the Piaget Polo Date 36mm in rose gold. The timepiece features a mother-of-pearl dial engraved with horizontal lines, Piaget’s signature Decor Palace technique. Its bezel is set with nearly three carats of trapeze-cut gemstones of sapphires, rubies, citrines and garnets (totalling 40 gemstones), all of which display a visual harmony of the colours of the rainbow. The timepiece is powered by the 500P1 self-winding movement, which is visible through a sapphire crystal caseback bearing the maison’s crest. This limited-edition timepiece reflects Piaget’s legacy of fine craftsmanship and bold design by blending high jewellery with horological excellence, making it a collectible suitable for everyday wear.

Blancpain And Oceanographic Magazine Presented The Female Fifty Fathoms Award To Malaysian Photographer Ipah Uid Lynn
Recently, Blancpain hosted a celebratory event at its boutique in Suria KLCC for local photographer Ipah Uid Lynn, who is the first ever Asian to win the Female Fifty Fathoms award. The award was created in 2021 by Oceanographic Magazine and Blancpain to honour women who push the envelope in ocean photography and who champion the values of the Blancpain Ocean Commitment. Unlike other categories in this year’s Ocean Photographer of the Year awards, Lynn was nominated by her peers and judged by a jury as well as representatives from Blancpain, including Marc A Hayek, president and CEO of Blancpain.
“Receiving the Female Fifty Fathoms Award is an incredible honour and validation of the passion and dedication I’ve poured into my work over the years,” Lynn said in a statement. “It feels surreal and deeply gratifying. It’s a recognition that goes beyond personal achievement—it highlights the importance of storytelling through photography and the voices of women in this field. I’m truly humbled and inspired to continue pushing the boundaries of what I can capture and share with the world.”
