Lamborghini’s Electrified Revolution Has Powered a Record-Breaking 2024 for Themselves

Automobili Lamborghini is on a roll. The Sant’Agata Bolognese marque has proudly announced record-breaking figures for the first nine months of 2024, delivering 8,411 cars—an 8.6% increase over the same period in 2023. Revenues reached €2.434 billion, up 20.1%, while operating profit climbed 9.8 per cent to €678 million.

And the key to this success? A bold product strategy that saw the introduction of three new models in under two years. Among them is the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first plug-in hybrid supercar, with design philosophy fusing sharp aerodynamics with a sustainable edge, all while delivering a staggering 1,001 hp from its V12 engine and three electric motors. Demand is so high it’s quite literally flown off the charts–customers who order right now will only receive their new rides two whole years later.

The Lamborghini Urus SE is a hybrid evolution of the brand’s iconic super SUV, blending electrified efficiency with uncompromised power.

The Urus S Hybrid, launched last April, continues to redefine the super SUV segment. It offers electrified performance that doesn’t compromise on the brute strength or luxury synonymous with Lamborghini’s bestselling model. With orders already locked through 2025, the Urus SE is a testament to the brand’s staying power.

The cutting-edge design and electrified Lamborghini Temerario is the brand’s star of the quarter, recently unveiled at Monterey Car Week.

Most recently, the Temerario, unveiled at Monterey Car Week, has captured hearts as the final piece of Lamborghini’s hybridised line-up. Blending blistering speed with futuristic design cues, it represents a pivotal step towards the marque’s electrified future, with initial orders pouring in since September.

“This is a crucial moment for the company, highlighting the importance and impact of the transformation we are experiencing,” expressed Stephan Winkelmann, chairman and CEO of Lamborghini. “The extremely positive performance we are seeing is the result of an unprecedented chapter for Automobili Lamborghini, marked by our three new introductions, and culminates in the significant milestone of a fully hybridised range, along with the presentation of the Lamborghini Temerario.”

Lamborghini’s transformation into the future, it seems, is speeding full throttle ahead.
