Inspired by Gaston-Louis Vuitton’s design philosophy that characterised the Art Deco era, this year’s Acte V high jewellery collection elevates the iconic Monogram to new heights. Featuring eight bold and exquisite pieces embellished with diamonds with a touch of contemporary aesthetics.
Gaston-Louis Vuitton, the grandson of the brand’s founder and a key figure in the renowned 1925 Decorative Arts Exhibition in Paris, was a passionate advocate for the Art Deco movement. His window displays, characterised by sleek lines and geometric forms, reflected the visual identity of his personal monogram, the three-colour V.

Over the years, every piece in the Louis Vuitton Acte V High Jewellery collection has featured the V designed by Gaston-Louis Vuitton during the Art Deco period. In 2021, the Pure V collection was festooned with white gold and diamonds to create a new chapter in this journey of innovation.
This new iteration suggests that the High Jewellery collection represents the fifth chapter of an ongoing narrative for Louis Vuitton. It signals a continuation of a creative journey, with each “act” building on the themes, designs, or innovations introduced in previous collections. In this instance, Acte V highlights the progression of the brand’s high jewellery offerings, reflecting an advancement in artistic expression, design philosophy, and craftsmanship.

This year’s launch continues to spotlight the Monogram design with high jewellery creations that fuse creativity and sophistication. These stunning pieces unveil a new configuration of diamonds, with gemstones weaving around the capital V, giving it three-dimensional structures that offer a different interpretation to each of us.
The iconic V is a visual treat that combines an interplay of surfaces, volumes, and proportions on necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and a ring. The pyramids of the iconic motif on a necklace and bracelet draw the eye toward a central ornament in the form of a V covered by baguette-cut diamonds.
These precious stones are brought to life via an intricate superimposition of lines, triangles, and pyramids. This latticework facilitates the perfect suppleness for necklaces and bracelets. Invisible clasps are used so that necklaces and bracelets provide an uninterrupted sense of movement, energy, and rhythm.
