Within the towering Menara Affin, TRX, Malaysia’s own Bufori Motor Car Company pulled back the curtain on its most ambitious creation to date—the Bufori CS8. The handcrafted marque, dedicated to bespoke motoring for nearly four decades, has introduced what it calls an “Ultra High Performance Grand Tourer”, a machine designed to unite power, precision, and artisanal craftsmanship in equal measure.
Launched in celebration of Malaysia’s Merdeka week, the CS8 is a supercar conceived, engineered, and hand-assembled entirely in Malaysia, yet carrying the ambition of a world-class grand tourer. Beneath its sculpted carbon-kevlar monocoque body, the CS8 harbours a 6.4l supercharged V8, delivering a staggering 810bhp to the rear axle via an eight-speed paddle-shift transmission. All this makes for a 1,550kg machine that goes from 0-100 km/h in 3.0 seconds, with a top speed of 330km/h, and balanced by an adaptive multi-link suspension and Brembo six-piston brakes, emphasising quality handling that is further bolstered by Michelin-performance tyres.
Telling a story of duality, the CS8’s cabin juxtaposes the machinery that surrounds it. From exposed carbon-fibre interior panels paired with supple hand-stitched leather, to Recaro sport bucket seats alongside near-silent electric comfort controls, the CS8 aims to evoke a sense of luxury and craftsmanship, with every detail curated with the discerning driver in mind. Indeed, every CS8 is entirely bespoke: its finishes, hues, and materials can all be handpicked and customised by its owner—Bufori’s testament to personalised luxury.

The Bufori CS8 starts at RM2.188 million.
