Malaysian jewellery brand Habib recently celebrated its annual Hari Raya campaign entitled ‘Rantaian Kasih’—meaning ‘ties that bind’—in honour of this year’s theme of Anyaman, a traditional art form that involves the weaving of natural materials like bamboo or rattan.
At The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, Habib hosted a grand preview of the Rantaian Kasih 2024 Campaign. Dato’ Sri Meer Habib, Executive Chairman of Habib Group, took to the stage to illuminate the significance of its latest collection. “While we celebrate Raya, Habib holds the responsibility to preserve timeless heritage and to encourage the public to continue appreciating the cultural intricacies of traditional arts. Therefore, we have chosen the art of Anyaman as the theme for this year’s Raya campaign to put a spotlight on this cultural tradition and ensure it does not fade with time.” he said. “The neat intertwining and precision on each woven piece symbolise familial bonds, tradition and the richness of our heritage, making it the perfect inspiration for our Rantaian Kasih Campaign.”
Captivating performances by local artists Hardy Arbi and Wany Hasrita soon followed, setting the stage for a stunning fashion show that unveiled the newest Rantaian Kasih collections. The Oro Italia 916 collection stood out as a crowd favourite, while the Clara Collection showcased trendiness with its vibrant colourful hues. A diverse range of exquisite diamond collections were displayed alongside a special men’s collection featuring Butang Baju Melayu (buttons) and silver palladium rings adorned with diamonds and gemstones.
Habib also extended its Anyaman theme beyond its jewellery collections, introducing its 999.9 Gold Wafer Coin Anyaman Edition, which came in five distinct designs, each weighing 0.2 grams. A unique alternative to Raya money packets, these 999.9 Gold Wafer Coins could also serve as cherished gifts for loved ones.
In anticipation of the upcoming Raya celebrations, the Rantaian Kasih 2024 Campaign will soon take place at all Habib showrooms nationwide from 12 March to 9 April.
