For the very first time, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia brought together the ‘Dream Cars Collection’ for the ‘Luxury Like No Other’ showcase that took place from 3 to 7 April 2024 at Mercedes-Benz Showroom Bangsar. Car enthusiasts got to witness their exquisite craftsmanship, sophistication, comfort and ultimate driving experience via the test drive sessions.
Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC
This new model combines the strengths of the GLS with the supreme luxury of the Maybach, offering sophisticated luxury beyond first-class. It’s built with a specific radiator grille featuring vertical chrome struts and Maybach lettering, as well as air inlet grilles at the front apron with small Maybach patterns, distinguishing itself from the other models. Its cabin is designed like a cocoon for extra cosiness, allowing passengers to fully relax on a long journey. This Maybach also comes with a fridge at the back to chill champagne bottles—perfect for a casual business meeting, a romantic evening or even a cross-country vacation with your family and friends.
Mercedes-AMG S 63 E PERFORMANCE
This recently launched model is the most powerful S-Class to date, combining a balance of comfort and dynamism to create a superlative driving experience in the city and out on the highways. It combines the AMG 4.0 litre V8 biturbo engine with an AMG Performance hybrid powertrain with Formula 1 technology transfer to obtain that power, which results in a 0 to 100km/h acceleration speed of 3.3 seconds. Some of the model’s key highlights include DIGITAL LIGHT, Adaptive High Beam Assist Plus, panoramic sliding sunroof, and black Nappa leather seats. Thanks to its impressive performance capabilities, this model is perfect if you frequently travel from state to state, and its soft, body-hugging seats will keep you comfortable for long hours.
Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4MATIC
The GLS 450 4MATIC is also dubbed the ‘S-Class among SUVs’, with advanced telematics and new drive systems. This model offers uncompromising comfort and a spacious interior, with three rows of luxurious seats for up to seven passengers. The exterior is built with a striking radiator grille, and the four louvres are galvanised in high-quality Silver Shadow. Its interior is also equipped with a multifunction sports steering wheel in Nappa leather, and its dashboard and door beltlines are made with ARTICO man-made leather. Another highlight of the interior is the multi-contour front seats’ hot stone massage effect and seat heating. The first two rows of seats are also equipped with a personal screen each, which helps keep the little ones behaved during a big family vacation.
Mercedes-CLE 300 4MATIC Coupé
This new CLE Coupé is designed with a sporty exterior with two doors and powerful wheel arches. Some new design features include a progressively forward-leaning front section with a low-slung bonnet, flat DIGITAL LIGHT with projection function headlights (the first ever Mercedes-Benz model in Malaysia with this feature), and a distinctive radiator grille for a more elegant appearance. The cockpit comes equipped with a striking 12.3-inch fully digital instrument display, an 11.9-inch central display, and seats covered in ARTICO man-made leather. It’s designed for the ultra-affluent single men, who enjoy luxurious date nights and in-car entertainment.
Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE F1 Edition
This special edition model has close ties to Formula 1. The technology transfer makes this Affalterbach model the most powerful production car yet, with an electric motor and AMG High Performance battery on the rear axle thus enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.9 seconds. This F1 Edition beauty distinguishes itself from the others with its unique paintwork—a non-metallic MANUFAKTUR alpine grey, the only colour available. The colour goes from grey to black at the sides, with red colour accents running through the lining. Bragging rights aside, this edition is perfect for those who enjoy adrenaline-pumping action when driving, taking you from A to B in no time.
The ‘Luxury Like No Other’ showcase was a resounding success, as Mercedes-Benz Malaysia shone the spotlight on these five spectacular dream cars that are the very definition of what Mercedes-Benz stands for as well as the ultimate in craftsmanship, performance and design that the automaker is world-famous for.
