In ZEGNA’s recent Spring/Summer 2024 campaign, global ambassador Mads Mikkelsen leads the set, donning pieces from the Oasi Lino collection—creatively lensed against a backdrop of serene landscapes. The campaign spotlights the widely acclaimed Danish actor in classic staples, including Alba overshirts, triple stitch espadrilles, and the new Orizzonte II sunglasses. Originally presented during ZEGNA’s L’Oasi di Lino Summer 2024 fashion show in Milan, the Oasi Lino collection captures artistic director Alessandro Sartori’s vision of seasonal lightness through gentle silhouettes and a colour palette inspired by nature.
To mark the latest advancement of ZEGNA’s Road to Traceability initiative, the fabrics used in the Oasi Lino collection are produced with certified flax fibres and are all 100 per cent traceable. These materials are sourced from the French region of Normandy—known for the finest flax fibres—before converting them into Oasi Lino fabrics in Italy. This effort draws on the founding values of the Oasi ZEGNA natural reserve in the Italian Alps, as well as its longstanding dedication to environmental and societal responsibility.
Mikkelsen attributes his pride in maintaining his partnership with ZEGNA due to its committed philosophy and ethics: “I am proud to continue my collaboration with ZEGNA and to be the global ambassador of their new Oasi Lino collection,” he said in a statement. “I believe ZEGNA is the leader in the production of fine fabrics and global excellence in menswear. Their commitment with Oasi Lino towards sustainability and traceability is extraordinary.”
With the purpose of celebrating this campaign globally, ZEGNA recently introduced its new event concept in Shanghai, titled VILLA ZEGNA. The immersive space offers selected guests a multi-sensory journey into the world of ZEGNA, representing a new approach to engaging with their top customers through curated private experiences. Throughout the week, ZEGNA hosted a series of intimate dinners in Shanghai to memorialise the launch of VILLA ZEGNA, alongside Mikkelsen and Chinese actor Wu Lei.
